The pane to the right of the document view is used to display information about the selected document.
The header area consists of a small window with the sections Preview, ID, File Information and Overview, which can be selected via tabs at the bottom. In the preview window a magnifying glass can be seen on the lower left. With this the documents can be viewed and printed in detail.
In the area below, the various detail views of the selected document appear, which can be selected via tabs. Riders whose titles can no longer be displayed due to lack of space can be selected via the black pop-up triangle or the overview window. Under the generic term metadata, all properties are displayed in groups. If present, revisions and categorization can then be selected. Under the generic term use appear, if present, assemblies (use), parts (structure) or drawings. Further, perhaps the generic term files other documents may appear according to the following criteria
- Documents in the same directory as the SolidEdge document
- with the same file name and other extension, with SE or not
- Derived documents: with the same file name and an extension that can be generated by SolidEdge. For these documents, the date is always checked for actuality. Red indicator, message when opening.
- Additional documents: containing the file name. The assignment is therefore not unique.
- Documents that are not in the same directory as the SolidEdge document, but which have been linked via the Fastfinder.
